About Me

With a Master's in IDBM (International Design Business Management), I have learned to thrive at the intersection of Design, Business, and Technology. This enables me to translate 'what users need' into 'what makes business sense,' ensuring nothing gets lost in translation.

What’s my story?

2019
The Spark 🔥
It all started in 2019 when I was introduced to Human-Computer Interaction as an elective in my bachelor’s program in Computer Science and Engineering.

I was instantly hooked. Up until then, I had been immersed in understanding the computer side of interactions. HCI introduced me to the human side, making the subject feel relatable and tangible in ways I hadn’t experienced before. It was fascinating to see how technology could be designed to resonate with people.

As the world shifted with COVID-19, I found myself shifting to the world of design, reading books, exploring online courses, and discovering a newfound interest.
2020 - 2021
A New Perspective
My first real glimpse into the world of design came through the pages of The Design of Everyday Things by Don Norman.

It was a revelation. Suddenly, I could see how everything around us was carefully (or poorly) designed, like the doors that confuse us, a concept that Don Norman so fittingly described.

I took numerous online courses on UX and design (thanks Coursera). Each course expanded my understanding of what it meant to create meaningful, user-centered designs.

During this time, an opportunity came to put my learnings into practice as a UI/UX Design Internship at Innception, a virtual incubator. I worked on designing a more approachable and intuitive experience for content creators at w2mm, one of their startups.
2021 - 2023
Professional Beginnings
My professional journey as a UX Designer began at Bhoos, where I joined as a UX Design Trainee. It was here that I truly learned how UX Design functions in the real world.

My first major project involved assisting in redesigning the Bhoos Games website to reflect the company’s rebranded identity. It was an exciting opportunity to empower the brand through design.
Next, I took on the challenge of designing an interactive dashboard for the Smart Bots Coding Challenge, an AI bot coding competition in Nepal.

This platform became a centralized hub where participants could organize, track, and analyze their competition data—helping them make informed decisions and optimize their performance.
One of my most rewarding projects was leading the research and design of a mobile platform that connected social media influencers with brands.

This initiative resulted in over 5,000 downloads and attracted hundreds of brand and creator sign-ups within a short time after launch.

A New Chapter
In August 2023, I embarked on an exciting new journey by moving to Finland to pursue my master’s in International Design Business Management (IDBM) at Aalto University.

IDBM integrates business, design and technology to enable students to lead interdisciplinary creativity.

Learning by Doing
My journey with Wärtsilä began in 2024 through the IDBM Industry Project, which opened the door for me to continue with the company, first as a summer trainee, then as an on-call trainee, and again as a summer trainee in 2025.

Working within the service side of the manufacturing industry gave me hands-on exposure to how design operates in complex systems. I experienced how design is perceived in industrial contexts, its growing strategic role, and the opportunities it holds for the future.
Now
The Next Chapter
I’m looking forward to the next step in my journey, exploring full-time opportunities in UX and Digital Product Development where I can continue learning and growing.
